The Wadden Islands are a popular holiday destination. Not surprising, because the Wadden has a lot to offer, from a beach holiday to beautiful nature reserves. A holiday park on the Wadden Islands is therefore a good base for a successful holiday.

Where can I find a holiday park on the Wadden Islands?

The Dutch Wadden consist of the following 5 islands inhabited islands: Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog. Texel is the largest Dutch Wadden Island and is very popular with tourists, so you will find the most holiday parks here.

The Wadden Islands are located in the North Sea, north of the Netherlands and Germany. Between the islands and the mainland lies the Wadden Sea, which largely dries up at low tide and is therefore a very important foraging area for birds. Be sure to go Wadlopen if you are on holiday on one of the Wadden Islands. Wadlopen is an exciting and adventurous way to get acquainted with this beautiful nature reserve. During low water, the sandbanks dry up, making it possible to walk on the seabed.
