Roompot takes over Landal GreenParks definitively

The acquisition of Landal GreenParks by Roompot has been officially approved by ACM. As a result, Dormio holiday parks is expanding its portfolio with thirty holiday parks from Roompot and Landal GreenParks. Measured in the number of holiday parks, Dormio is now one of the top three providers of holiday parks in the Netherlands!

Dormio is growing through the acquisition from 8 to 38 holiday parks/resorts. To date, Dormio has mainly developed luxurious resorts abroad. Dormio also operates a number of hotels. “We are very pleased with the acquisition,” says Don van Schaik, founder and CEO of Dormio Group. “This also offers us new opportunities for the future and is in line with our ambition. We want to be even more strongly represented in the Dutch market, so that even more guests and home owners become acquainted with our service and hospitality.”

Dormio is transferring the majority of the purchased parks to a new label. “One thing is certain: service orientation is of paramount importance to us and the experience of the guests is our number one priority,” says Van Schaik. “That will be no different with the new parks that we welcome. Together with owners, administrators and managers, we will look at each individual park to see how we can get the most out of the relevant park.”

Dormio grows through the acquisition from 400 to over 600 employees. Park employees of Roompot and Landal GreenParks who work at the acquired parks will transfer to Dormio with retention of employment conditions and years of service.
