Dormio Group and Roompot / Landal have reached a conditional agreement on the sale of thirty Dutch holiday parks. The purpose of the sale is to obtain approval from the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) for the acquisition of Landal GreenParks by Roompot.

When will the acquisition be completed?

Dormio and Roompot expect to be able to complete the acquisition at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter of 2023 after completion of the competition process with ACM, consultations with the employee organizations and the acquisition of Landal GreenParks by Roompot.

Acquisition of Landal by Roompot now very close

With the sale of these holiday parks, the acquisition of Landal by Roompot is now very close. This was the last condition of the Dutch ACM for the takeover to go ahead. How fast will the takeover go through? We will probably also hear that this quarter, because the takeover by Dormio will only go through once the takeover of Landal by Roompot has gone through.

How will Dormio continue with the parks?

All park employees of Roompot and Landal GreenParks are allowed to continue working at the parks. They retain their terms of employment, accumulated years of service and will soon only work for Dormio. How the parks will transform remains to be seen in the future, but we think that many holiday parks will improve. Dormio parks, such as Dormio Resort Maastricht and Dormio Resort Eifeler Tor are absolute quality parks, so if they manage to extend that standard to the acquired holiday parks, it will be fine.

There is not yet a definitive list of parks that will transfer to Dormio. The following holiday parks were proposed in advance by the parties involved:
