Holiday park Hambachtal is located at the foot of a mountain slope in Oberhambach, in the heart of Germany's largest contiguous forest area, The Hunsrück. The unspoilt landscape is beautiful, with extensive forests, rolling hills, characteristic rocks and historic towns. Also nearby is Trier and the town of Idar-Oberstein, known as Germany's jewel and gemstone city. But a nice walk is also possible.

There is a lot to do and experience in and around Ferienpark Hambachtal. You can choose to explore the area first, but the children will probably want to take a dip in the fantastic subtropical swimming pool first. Try out the super cool water slide here or let yourself be carried away on the white water course. There is a paddling pool for the youngest guests. You can relax in the wellness area with saunas and thermal baths. If you are hungry or thirsty from all the water fun, you can visit the pool bar for a snack and (cool) drink.

Hit a ball on the tennis court and challenge your children to a game of mini golf or football. Or how about bowling together? That is also possible at Hambachtal. For the older children there is a chill area and during the holiday weeks there is also a recreation team present, which organizes fun activities for young and old. But the surroundings are also beautiful, so we recommend that you bring your walking shoes. You can contact the reception for walking routes, fun outings and sights.

Got hungry? Then you can visit the buffet or the á la carte restaurant. For a quick bite, head to the snack bar. Ferienpark Hambachtal also has a supermarket, where you can also get fresh bread rolls in the early morning. You will stay in simple linked bungalows or apartments, which are scattered among the greenery. Good to know: Ferienpark Hambachtal is located in a sloping landscape with many height differences.
